To put it simply, an Application Delivery Controller serves to help websites perform tasks to ease the load off webservers. It makes life easier for webservers and as a consequence, you get to optimally utilize resources. Load balancing makes it possible to literally distribute the load of work in order for you to maximize throughput and minimize response time.
IPv6 Migration
Another offering of A10 is migration to IPv6. As more and more users take on a more frequent and readily available access to the Internet, the provision for IPv4, which is the prevalent technology of our time, gets naturally depleted. It is unfortunately a finite resource which is not sustainable. It follows that there is a need to provide a new resource in the form of IPv6. It is still measured to be a finite resource but the good thing is that we are looking way ahead this time around.
To adapt to this change, there is a necessary transition, i.e., there is a more deliberate weaning period before the change to IPv6 can be realized.
The bottom line is no single solution fits the needs of all customers. A10 will find a way to create the solution.
